Yiyu ChendirectorAcademician of CAS

Mainly engaged in the study of the classification and system evolution of freshwater fishes. Fusheng WeiDeputy directorAcademician of CAS
Prof. Fusheng Wei graduated from Department of Chemistry of University of Science & Technology China in 1964. Since 1985, he has been working in China National Environmental Monitoring (CNEN) and served as director of analytical research laboratory, vice-director of CNEM, and chief engineer. He was appointed the 10th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, and member of Environmental and Resources Protection Committee. He was elected as the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1997. Recently, his research group undertook several key strategic consulting projects of Chinese Academy of Engineering and took part in the advisory work for the Committee of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region’s coordinated development. He was awarded National Science and Technology Progress Awards (2nd class) twice, the second class prize of the provincial and ministerial level Science and Technology Progress Award three times, and Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award.
Guibin JiangResearcherAcademician of CAS
Prof. Guibin Jiang received his Ph.D. from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1991. After a four years’ research in Canada and Belgium, he returned to the institute and is currently director of the institute and the SKLECE. From January 2006, he was formally appointed the Associate Editor of Environmental Science and Technology (ES&T). He is also on the editorial board of Anal. Chim. Acta, Chemosphere and Int. J. Environ., Anal. Chem.. He was awarded the Cheung Kong Scholar Achievement Award in 2007 and the research group on POPs leading by him was awarded the Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Prize of the CAS. As the principal scientist, he was awarded twice, in 2003 and 2011, National Natural Science Award (2nd class). His research group focused on pollutants analysis and toxicology, including analytical methods, environmental fate and toxicology of persistent toxic substance.
